Travel Therapy: Paris

Paris has always been one of my dream destinations, and when my friend and I started planning the "very much needed vacay" I mentioned here, it was at the very top of the list. We spent two nights in Paris, but since we planned to visit Brussels(Belgium) from Paris, we only had one full day to spare. Our hotel was very close to the Eiffel Tower and it was one of the first stops we made. We knew that we were not going to see much of the city if we explored on our own, so we took one of the "hop on, hop off" tour buses. The tour bus was a good idea, and I definitely recommend it to anyone with limited vacay time. It was indeed a great way to see the city, visit the major sights and learn about the history through the headphone lecture. In addition to the Eiffel Tower, we rode down the famous "The Avenue des Champs-Élysées", we saw the Grand Palais, Arc de Triomphe, visited the Notre Dame Cathedral, and even went to The Louvre to say hello to the beautiful MonaLisa. I was in awe of the city and my camera kept clicking. Below are just a few of the pictures I took.

That's all for now.I will be posting pictures from the six other cities I visited over the next few weeks.Have an amazing month!

With Love from London

Hi there!Hope everyone is doing great.Things have been hectic for me and right now, I am suffering from a really bad cold and jet lag. So, I was in the UK for most of last week and I spent most of the time in Glasgow, Scotland. On Monday, I flew into London and spent the day meeting up with friends. I was back in the States on Tuesday and had to go back to work immediately. Words can't explain how fatigued and sick I feel right now. The weekend really, can't come soon enough.
Anyways, just thought i'd  drop a quick post before leaving for work this morning.I took these pictures at my friend's apartment in London Bridge. The London Eye was right behind me but the lighting made it impossible to photograph.Hope you enjoy the pictures.See ya soon!
